Services

Geotechnical finite element analysis with Plaxis (2D) and CRISP (2D and 3D) is our core activity. This allows us to analyse virtually any geotechnical structure. We also have the skills and software to use other analysis techniques where these are appropriate, all in accordance with Eurocode EN1997. We maintain our own professional indemnity insurance that covers all our work on projects worldwide.

We are based in Cyprus which makes us ideally located to serve our clients who are located generally in the UK and Gulf region, although we are pleased to work with clients anywhere in Europe, Asia and beyond. We often visit our clients at key stages of a project but our experience shows that with the modern communication methods available today, an entire project can be completed successfully without the need for international travel, particularly for smaller projects.

Our clients are mostly civil engineering consultants and contractors who are already undertaking the main body of design work for a particular project for their client. At some stage in the design advanced geotechnical analysis may be required, either to complete the designed solution or to rationalise it. Advanced geotechnical analysis is highly specialised work and in situations where our clients either need such expertise or their resources are fully committed, we can help. Please read below for more information on our services but always feel free to contact us to discuss without obligation the particular services that we could offer you.

Model generation only.

For consultants who are already specialists in the field, a model in Plaxis or CRISP can be generated for you by our geotechnical engineers. We will then give you the model on which to try out some ideas in your own time. This service can include the interpretation of site investigation and monitoring data for the selection of the model parameters.

Model checking and interpretation.

You may have generated a model yourself and you need it checked by experts or you would like some additional interpretation.

Complete analysis and interpretation.

Model generation and interpretation tailored to your needs.

Advice on site investigations and monitoring for FEA.

Good ground data is critical to the accuracy of an FEA model and we can advise on or specify appropriate methods.

Advanced geotechnical design in accordance with EN 1997-1.

Our Director is a National Annex author and can ensure that our work is in accordance with the geotechnical Eurocode.
