Andrew Lees BEng, PhD

Director

Andrew is the Director of Geofem and he is also Assistant Professor of geotechnical engineering at Frederick University Cyprus. He has extensive knowledge and experience of the practical application of numerical analysis tools in geotechnical engineering. He attained his BEng and PhD degrees from the University of Southampton and his PhD studies involved the use of finite element analysis and centrifuge modelling to investigate soil/structure interaction problems. He was a geotechnical engineer (2000-2004) at the head office of Mouchel Consulting working on a wide range of site investigation, design and construction projects in the UK, Middle East, SE Asia and Caribbean. Many of these projects involved advanced geotechnical analysis. He is the author of the Cyprus National Annex to EN 1997-1.

Skevi Perdikou, BEng, MSc, PhD

Lead Analyst

Skevi leads our analysis team. She attained her BEng and MSc (Geotechnical Engineering) degrees at City University, London. Her MSc dissertation involved the finite element analysis of tunnelling-induced settlements. She studied for her PhD in the field of remote sensing at the University of Southampton. Following this she worked as a geotechnical specialist at the head office of Parsons Brinckerhoff (UK).
